GC Kids
Give your kids a heart for global missions! Inspire them with stories of how we can share God’s love with unreached people groups.
Church Planting
This is a parable. A parable is a story with a meaning, but don’t try to make all the details fit the moral of the story. The Kingdom of God is like two friends who went camping. Paul and Jeremy wanted to go camping by themselves one weekend. Paul asked his father, who said, “I think you are old enough now to go by yourselves. Just remember all the rules and advice I have given you about camping and you will be O.K. Take my cell phone so you can call for help if you need to.”
Brazil
Flora was seven and Linda was five when their family moved to a big city in Brazil named Porto Alegre. They were a family of missionaries. In the state of Mato Grosso, near the border with Paraguay, the girls had watched their parents teach some Indians of the Terena tribe how to share the good news about Jesus. Now, in the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul, their parents wanted to make friends for Jesus and start a church.
MK Life in the Philippines
I love being an MK. I think that there is no better way to grow up than overseas while your parents are missionaries. You get such a bigger view of the world and have so many unique experiences. But even though I love being an MK, there are some things about it I do not like.
Adoniram Judson
Finding Judson at a prayer meeting in a haystack would have surprised anybody, most of all Judson himself. After all, Adoniram Judson of Malden, Massachusetts, had big plans for his life. He would be famous and powerful, and he didn’t need any help from God.
Adopt Unreached People
Hi, we are three kids who went with our parents on a mission trip during Summer, 2004. I am Miranda, my brother is Matthew and Hannah is my little Sister.
African Unreached
There are very few times in my life that I feel like I have jumped into the Bible and begun to act it out, but meeting Anna was like that. First of all, we went to visit her at her house. Anna was at a prayer meeting and the children did not know where the meeting was.
Spain
It’s exciting to be in a new place. We get to meet new people, see new things, try new food, and learn new ways of doing things. God is very creative. He made many different cultures and places. It is fun to see that.
Annie Soper – Pioneer Missionary
“When God wants someone to serve Him, He, at times, chooses even the weakest, often the most physically unfit, to carry out His purposes.”
New York City
I want to tell you a true story about a special friend of mine, who we will call Janet. I cannot give you her real name because the government is very strict in her country. If they learned about her decision for Jesus she might lose her job or otherwise get into trouble.
The Roma
Ivan is Roma, a people often looked down upon around the world. They are also know as Gypsies. They have superstitious religious beliefs rooted in Hinduism. Known mostly as uneducated, unmotivated and living a rough wild life, the Roma are often accused of thievery and other bad behavior. This used to describe Ivan.
