Philippines-Evangelism and Discipleship
To work alongside an established team of missionaries in proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, edifying growing churches, and planting new churches.
This position is on a team with an established church planting network with opportunities across the socioeconomic spectrum, including both urban professionals and informal settlers.
- A love for Christ and the church
- Passion for evangelism and discipleship
- Ability to work in a team and cross-cultural setting
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Commitment to personal spiritual growth
- Experience in cross-cultural missions or ministry
- A theology suffering
- Endurance in working among the poor based on abiding in Christ
- Engaging in relational evangelism
- Learning Tagalog and/or other local language(s)
- Participating in Bible studies and discipleship groups
- Helping to develop training and curriculum
- Helping plant and establish new churches
- Participating in various community entrance strategies such as kid’s programs, pre-natal and community health, job training, marriage counseling, and others
- Supporting and mentoring new believers
- Participate in team and field activities, including team meetings and the annual field conference
