The INN: Team Leader

The Team Leader is essential to the ministry of teams strategically placed among unreached diaspora communities within the United States. This role will work to expand the vision of churches and individuals within their network, with the goal of planting multiplying churches. Team Leaders will be intricately involved with outreach, mobilization, supervision, team building, training, and networking.

Team Leaders will be engaged in the launching of new INN sites or alternatively, will step into the role of Leader for an existing team. They will address the significant challenges to fulfilling WT’s purpose of “establishing reproducing churches focusing on the unreached peoples of the world.”

The primary focus of this role is to oversee a team of workers and volunteers as they live among and serve the rapidly growing number of unreached diaspora peoples in the United States. The Team Leader mobilizes and equips new WT workers and trains volunteers for the ministry to effectively participate in church planting and multiplication (CPM), with the intent of maintaining and growing a local church network in the communities they serve.

To effectively oversee an INN site, Team Leaders need to have a collaborative leadership style. As they shape and develop the team and local network, they will discover and utilize the skills, gifts, talents, and abilities of those they lead, which will contribute to increased team effectiveness as they work together to plant multiplying churches in unreached diaspora communities. Cross-cultural experience is beneficial, along with a passion for reaching the lost.
