Tales From The INN #2

Why Are You So Happy?

Has anyone ever sought you out because they wondered what makes you different, asking, “Why do you seem so happy and at peace?” An INN worker recently had this experience.

The INN worker shared with his friend “S” that what he was observing was evidence of Jesus in his life. Through ongoing conversations, it became evident that “S” had a growing thirst to know more about God.
“S” continued to learn more about Jesus over the next few months, and as he grew in his understanding that the peace and joy he was seeking could only be found in Christ, he put his faith in Jesus.
As the INN worker discipled “S” and heard more of his story, he knew that it was a clear testimony as to how God can heal even the most broken and hurting people. A few months after “S” first believed, he was instrumental in leading a Muslim couple to faith in Christ. “S” continues to grow in his faith.

Is Jesus God?

My team ministers to about twenty children from the Muslim families we meet with weekly. We were teaching them about the miracles of Jesus and helping them discover that Jesus really is the Son of God!
While some families have prevented their children from listening to the stories of Jesus by making them walk home during story time, others have invited us into their homes to share more about the Savior.
Many Muslim children are hearing of Jesus for the first time and responding to stories of the kindness, love, and power of God! After learning that a miracle is something only God can do and that Jesus has the power and authority to perform miracles, one young child asked simply, “Is Jesus God?!”

Celebrating God’s Faithfulness

Praise the Lord for the Arabic women’s Bible study that began at the onset of the COVID pandemic. They meet twice a week to study the Bible, pray, and worship the Lord. It has grown into an incredible gathering of women from all over the world, with multiple Bible studies that regularly impact over four hundred women.
More than a dozen women have come to faith in Christ and are learning the truths of Scripture, while others share that it is the only “church” they have access to in their language, and numerous others are being discipled in their relationship with Christ.
