The Harvest is plentiful! Approximately 80% of Muslims now live outside of the Middle East, in countries where they are within reach of the gospel. However, there remain whole communities of Muslims where Jesus is not known. Most have never met a true follower of Christ.

The growing millions of Muslims worldwide are outpacing the vanishing national population of Christ-followers in countries like Belgium. Like many European countries, Belgium is an unreached country with very limited resources or opportunities to reach their Muslim neighbors.

World Team uses a holistic approach to overcome the many obstacles in sharing the gospel. A key part of this approach is building relationships of trust to reach across social and religious lines. Workers aim to introduce unreached communities to the love of Jesus, discipling new Christ-followers so that they are well-grounded in the Word of God and can effectively lead others to faith.

Although the road to sharing the hope of Christ is often challenging, the truth is that God is already moving among communities such as these. Hearts are being opened as some experience Jesus in dreams and visions, and many more are touched through Bible studies and by meeting authentic Christians. In fact, more Muslims have come to faith in the last few decades than in the past 1400 years! Even so, more workers are needed to grow and expand this ministry.

Our relational approach may include serving through a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), as a marketplace professional, or through Business for Transformation. The world of Islam is prime for the gospel. Muslims are turning away from their religion at an astounding rate, and when they do this, they turn to Jesus.
