Prayer Team Bulletin

As one of our guiding principles, our reliance on prayer informs how we carry out our mission of church planting. We invite you as friends and supporters of the mission to join us in prayer for these topics:

This Month

Middle East Conference

Pray for three of our US workers sharing at a Conference in the Middle East this month. They will spend a week teaching young Arabs about discipleship and leadership. Many of these young people endure cultural and familial hardships due to their beliefs. Pray for safety, accuracy of the interpreters, and that attendees will be encouraged, educated, and galvanized.

Missionaries Launched!

Praise the Lord for two families who have raised all of their support, completed all of their pre-field requirements, and launched to full-time ministry this past month! One is in the US working with refugees through the INN, and one is in Brazil. Pray for their language, cultural training, and spiritual stamina as they embark on this new adventure!

Appointees Raising Funds

We have two appointees hoping to leave for the Middle East this summer. Praise the Lord that they are both at 75% of their fundraising. Pray that they would meet 100% soon so that they can embark on pre-field training at the end of March.

Leadership Changes

Pray for two of our fields as they go through leadership changes. After many years of faithful service, previous Field Directors are stepping down, and others are stepping up. Pray for smooth transitions, good support, and minimal disruption in ministry and function. Praise the Lord that he continues to provide wise and competent leadership for our fields.

Relationships with Governments

Pray for two of our fields working to develop relationships with key government figures to enable them to continue to serve and minister and also be compliant with new laws and regulations. Pray that the Lord would give our Field Directors wisdom and creativity and that these new laws would not hinder the work being done.

Motorcycle Accident

Pray for one of our families in the Philippines. They are Filipinos who have been involved in church leadership for many years. They were recently in a motorcycle accident, and the wife has a severely broken leg that has left her incapacitated. It appears that the road to recovery will be quite long.

Upcoming Graduations

Though it is months away, we have many families preparing for transitions with their children graduating high school this year. College applications, working on scholarships, and making the most of their last few months all together in the country they serve. Pray for all the logistics and also for all the emotions that go with finishing this season well and preparing to send your child across an ocean.

Support Partners Needed

With the cost of living increasing, we have many missionaries who were once fully funded, finding themselves in need of more financial support. Pray that the Lord would bring individuals and groups alongside them to partner with them prayerfully and financially in the work of the gospel.

Discipleship in Spain

Pray for a discipleship program taking place through workers in Spain. When first announced, four people joined. The next week, nine came, and the next week, 18. The idea is to be discipled and then to disciple another person or share the gospel with them according to each one’s respective needs. Pray that the Lord will do great things for his glory in Spain.

Pure Motivations

Pray that in all things, our motivations would be pure and would be “for the sake of the gospel.” (I Cor 9:23)

Board Members

All three of our sending centers- US, Canada, and Australia are looking for board members. Pray that God would bring wise, missions-oriented individuals to each of these boards so that they might provide godly leadership and oversight.
